Help me connect iSomor MCP to Codex so I can translate PDFs later.

Check existing MCP settings first. Reuse a matching isomor connection; do not overwrite unrelated settings or a different service with that name.

If Codex CLI is available, add the server with the command below, then run codex mcp login isomor. If CLI is unavailable, use the app’s MCP settings or give me the shortest manual step.

Use OAuth with my iSomor account, not an API key. Let me complete sign-in and approve permissions myself; never ask me to paste passwords or tokens into chat. After authorization, load the tools (tell me if a new session is needed), call only get_capabilities and get_quota, and report the real result. Do not create a translation during setup. If blocked, report the error and next step instead of claiming the connection succeeded.

What happens next

Send the message
Your Agent checks its setup and adds iSomor. If it cannot edit settings, it tells you the next step.
Sign in and authorize
Open the authorization page when prompted, check your iSomor account and approve the permissions yourself.
Check the connection
Your Agent reads capabilities and allowance first. When you are ready, upload a PDF to iSomor and tell it what to translate.

Already signed in?

Website sign-in alone does not connect an Agent. The connections page shows clients you have authorized, not the tool catalog.

One account, one allowance

MCP and website translation share your account allowance. No API key or separate trial is needed. The Agent should estimate usage and obtain your confirmation before translating; insufficient allowance stops new jobs.

Text-based PDFs

Upload the PDF on iSomor first. Local paths and chat attachments are not uploaded files. Translated and bilingual PDFs preserve layout where possible. Scans and OCR are not supported.

Privacy and review

Document text is sent to Google Gemini for translation. Private storage and temporary links do not mean zero retention. Check names, numbers, tables and layout against the original.
