iSomor Terms of Service

Service and operator
iSomor is a PDF translation service operated by Edmunds Studio Limited. By using it, you agree to these terms. The service is for adults aged 18 or over. Contact: support@tryisomor.com.
Accounts and credits
Try the first two pages of a text PDF without signing in. Continuing translation or downloading requires an account verified through Google or an email sign-in link. Protect your account and sign-in links.
Credits come in two kinds:
- Free credits: a verified account is topped up to 20 credits every 7 days from its first claim; unused free credits do not roll over. The 50 credits granted before these rules took effect remain valid until their original expiry.
- Paid credits: credits you buy, and any other credits we add to your account. Paid credits do not expire and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred; credits that were not bought are not refundable.
Each translated page of a text-based PDF uses 1 credit; scanned PDFs and photos are charged as described under “Scanned PDFs and photos” below. Paid credits are used first by default, and you can choose to use free credits instead. Pages translated with any free credits carry an iSomor mark at the bottom; pages translated with paid credits only do not. Downloading an existing translation does not use credits.
New translations that use free credits share a site-wide limit of 1,000 pages per day, which resets at 00:00 UTC; when the limit is reached, new free translations pause. Purchases are not available yet. If you need more credits, you can ask at support@tryisomor.com; we review each request manually and do not guarantee approval.
Your documents
Upload only content you are entitled to use and share for translation. You authorize the processing needed to translate, store and deliver your files, including sending document text to the AI model providers we select. Read our Privacy Policy before uploading, especially for confidential or personal information. Uploading does not transfer ownership of your source document to us.
Scanned PDFs and photos
Text recognition and translation of scanned PDFs and photos (photos are combined into a PDF in your browser before upload) are performed by a third-party provider we select, and you authorize us to send these files to it for processing as described in our Privacy Policy. Each task uses 3 credits per page, with a minimum of 6 credits; the credits required are shown before you start. The first translation and each continuation are separate tasks; a task covers up to 25 pages, and a file can have up to 50 pages. If a task fails, all credits charged for it are returned. Text recognition and translation can misread or omit content, and the layout of the result can differ from the original.
Delivery Edition
The Delivery Edition is for translations you need to hand to a school, an institution or a client. It is priced per file in three tiers (up to 5 pages, up to 20 pages and up to 50 pages), with prices shown on the Pricing page; files over 50 pages are not currently available for the Delivery Edition. It includes the translation and a bilingual file without the iSomor mark, a key-information checklist that lists the names, dates, numbers, amounts, ID numbers and organization names in the original next to how each is written in the translation and checks that each term is translated the same way throughout, and the layout check results. A glossary of the terms used in the translation is also included.
The Delivery Edition is a machine translation. It does not include human translation or review, it is not a certified or sworn translation, and we do not guarantee that the recipient will accept it. If the recipient asks for a certified translation, check its requirements first.
Guarantee: within 14 days of delivery, if any item on the checklist is wrong, you can ask for one free redo from the results page; if the redone file is still wrong, we refund the full amount. “Wrong” means that a number, date, amount or ID number is written differently in the translation than in the original; that a name or organization name in the delivered file does not match how the checklist writes it, or that the same name is translated in more than one way in the delivered file; that the same term is translated in more than one way in the delivered file (unless the checklist marks the difference as intentional); that content of these kinds in the original was left off the checklist and mistranslated; or that the delivered file has text running off the page, text smaller than 5 points, or table lines crossing text (unless the original is like that). Text that is smaller than 5 points because a table cell, form field or text box in the original is too small to hold the translation at 5 points is not an error. Preferences about transliterated spellings, choice of synonyms, word order and style are not errors. The glossary is provided for reference only and is not covered by the guarantee; the choice of translation for a single term is not an error. Apart from these cases, delivered orders are generally not refundable; a payment dispute does not affect files already delivered.
Results and availability
AI translation can omit or misinterpret content and alter formatting. The translation is a machine translation, not a certified or sworn translation. Review the output before relying on it, especially for consequential decisions. Keep your own originals and downloaded results: iSomor is not a permanent archive. Processing, access and downloads may be interrupted or unavailable; we do not promise an error-free translation or uninterrupted service.
Responsible use and contact
Do not use the service unlawfully, infringe others' rights, evade quotas or interfere with accounts or infrastructure. Access may be restricted to address abuse or operational problems. Questions about these terms or your account can be sent to the contact above. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. These terms do not exclude rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
