A few practical details before you start.
Do page numbers mean file order or the numbers printed on the page?
Use the page's position in the file, starting at 1. Covers and contents pages count too. If two cover pages come before a body page labelled '1', enter 3 to select that page. Check its position in your reader's thumbnail list before processing.
Why can't I copy text from a clear scan?
A scanned page may be a single image: looking sharp does not mean it has a text layer. These tools do not perform OCR, and placing an image in a PDF does not make its text selectable. For searching or translation, prefer a text-based PDF exported from the original document.
What if my PDF has forms, bookmarks or a digital signature?
Keeping a page's appearance is not the same as keeping every document feature. Merge and split do not support interactive forms or preserve bookmarks, attachments or digital signatures. Keep the original for signed or archival documents; do not use the processed copy as a replacement for the signed original.
Will my original be overwritten, or the result saved to my account?
Neither. The original stays unchanged, and results are not saved to your account or history. Download the result before leaving this page. After changing the inputs, clearing the files or leaving, you will need to process the files again to get a result.
